About Tar & Chip Surfacing

Tar and chip surface dressing is a single coat application of hot bitumen emulsion to a surface which is then covered with natural stone and compacted. Prior to surface dressing the surface area may need preparation, for example sweeping clean and repairing. Tar and Chip can be applied to driveways, roads, car parks and footpaths. In some cases a double application may be required.
